Not Exactly Getting Along...

2bullymama Again, thank you for all the help. I really appreciate it! :) I just want the two of them to be friends. Not trying to be impatient, as we've only had her for a week, but it's frustrating.

You'll know better in about a month... a week in they are still sizing each other up. Cheli did not accept Lambeau for over two weeks

Yes sounds like good play to me. I would let her out of the X-pen and let them play together, just not too long as pups need plenty of sleep.

For some reason Kali seems to think that sleep is not an option, lol. She refuses to sleep for more than maybe half an hour at a time.

I'm just curious - when your group plays, do any of them gently bite and pull on each other's legs and keep doing it? Ella seems to like to do that to Kali.

Nicole G yes, they will bite each others legs, and the sides of each others necks.I try to discourage this type of play, but it's hard as it's what they do. Eventually they will grow out of it, but will still do it from time to time.

davidh That's what I thought. I can't come up with any ways to teach them to stop, however! I tried the can of coins and pulling them apart when it got too rough, but they both go back for more, lol.

did you get another frenchie? it takes time.... they will be besties before you know it

It took Molly and Leo several weeks to warm up to each other. Give it time, they will love each other eventually.
