He is cool!!Great shot, Charlie looks pretty cool.
No, he doesn't go in the pool. We don't even want to take the chance that they will fall in.
That's why we put up the baby gate.
I've read where some frenchies can swim, but bulldogs and water is usually something to be avoided.
We bought a "new" house last year that came with a pool. Got a nice vest for Bambi and put her in once, of course we me being right there. I never let go of her. Can't say she was thrilled, but the water was only like 78. I told her this year, we will wait until it reaches 82 and we're going swimming! :haha:
Gorgeous and I'm jealous!!

Thank you! We think he's handsome too!! :yes:Such a handsome Charlie!
Back in the early 1980s we got our 1st English Bulldog. We didn't know they were sinkers instead of swimmers when we took our German Shepherd and EB to a lake. Fortunately the water level was low because it was used for irrigation. Our GS had been there before and ran right down the dock and jumped in. Our EB followed and promptly sunk. I jumped in to save him, but he parted the water and walked up to shore, turned around and barked at the water! We learned a valuable lesson with a good outcome!
That is a good thing!!Luckily, our pool is above ground and they cannot use the steps.read a while ago that the Rock lost his frenchie in their built-in pool. He was devastated. So sad!
He is such a handsome boy!!!!
Wally actually can swim short distances and enjoys it but I doubt he would be able to swim for too long before he started to sink.
