Very frustrating anyway or French bulldog is he is constantly licking her Paul we give her a bath with oatmeal shampoo for dogs as well as put coconut oil or lavender on our policy but can't seem to get her to stop. We don't feel that it is an infection we feel that it's allergies and don't know what else to do we don't feel comfortable taking her to the vet because we never get any satisfaction other than dissatisfaction for a large that bill.

How old is she? What are you feeding? Are her a paws a rusty red color? Definitely could be allergies but need to know more.

Where are you located... another member might be nearby and can recommend a better vet.

Same questions as Cbrugs.... age, food, etc

My dog is constantly licking paws too. I've been switching from food to food to see if that's the cause but so far no luck. The easiest way to see if it's a food allergy is to try a limited ingredient dehydrated raw food like Honest Kitchen Spruce for 4-6 weeks and see if it improves. You can have her tested for food allergies too with a blood test. If she doesn't have any food allergies, then she probably has environmental allergies and the best way to treat is an injection of Cytopoint every 4-8 weeks ( about 90.00/injection ).
