Pedigree obsession... I can't stop!

Is anyone else obsessed about seeing just how far back you can trace a pedigree?

Since Rico is my first dog EVER and I got his AKC chart today, I've been sitting here imagining his family tree and trying to put pictures to every name and then trace it back further.

It's ABSOLUTELY amazing to me to see all the dogs it took to make this little dumpling.

I don't care about a "pedigree" per se, but I'm just astonished at this....

OK... Now if you'll excuse me I have to find pictures of his great great great great great great grandparents (that can be like only 15/20 years ago... Gosh dogs get busy quickly LOL!!).

I'm not that bad, but I do look at them, especially if I have a female I want to breed, and look at the males also so I can get a good show prospect.

I know! It's really so cool! I may or may not have made a family photo album ..... Shhhhhhh! Lol
