Hello FBN! I recently adopted this little nugget that has been name The Butcher, or just Butcher or Butch for short! He was a pup that was cast out by a breeder because he wasn't perfect, confined to a play pen for the first 5 months of his life, but now is being spoiled absolutely rotten! He will be turning 6 months old on the 30th of October, and has a WHOLE LOTTA puppy that isn't just starting to emerge, it's in full force! Oh, and if you're wondering about the name... You may have guessed it, but if not, check out the movie Gangs of New York :)

What a cutie. He looks so much like Gus' half brother, Lenny. Glad you adopted him and are spoiling him properly!! Welcome to you both!! :)

Good looking little man!! ( I may be biased though) :)

Welcome!! Butcher is adorable!!! Great name from a great movie.

I'll look for you on IG.

Thank you all for the compliments on my little man! It is absolutely incredible to see a huge change in his personality and physical well being, especially in such a short time. He was so incredibly timid the first few days. Was scared to even walk up a curb, walked super slow while on walks, but now??? This little nugget is climbing the biggest ledges he can find, loves to try to out run dad while on our early morning and late evening walks (It's down here in socal, ugh!), and cannot wait to play tug-o-war with one of his favorite stuffies! While it bums me out to no end when I think about what the past 5 months must have been like, I am so incredibly filled with joy at seeing him evolve into the puppy he is, and to get to share my love with him.

dog bless!

Welcome! (I can't get on Instagram - long story.) So happy you rescued this angel.

Does he have a blue eye? (i.e. Butcher from GONY?)

Hah! You pretty much nailed it! His left eye was removed at 3 months old. I figured it fitting, plus if anyone asks what happened to his eye I can say it was from his battle with The Priest. Also, his remaining eye is a beautiful grey blue.

Welcome to you and Butch. Thank you for rescuing him and giving him the life he deserves.
