Pups are gaining weight really well!

Hi all,

My husband and I adopted Penelope & Fergus exactly 1 wk and 1 day ago, and I believe the breeder told us that before she gave them to us, they each weighed approx 3 lbs.

Well, I weighed them yesterday. Penelope is 4.2 and Fergus is 4.4! Yay!

Fergus is a great eater. Penelope is ok too, but I've had to use a couple of tricks with her to keep her interested in her food, not to mention she wants to eat WITH Fergus. *sigh* They're littermates, so I'm not surprised they have this behavior. I'm trying to break it, but she's being a stubborn little one!

They are so adorable. I totally don't regret getting two. They keep each other busy and they have similar energy levels; play play play!

Thanks all. These two pups I have are the smallest from the litter, so I wasn't sure just how quickly they'd grow.

awesome... you could place them each in their crate and slide them next to each other and let them eat in the crate with a feel of being next to each other

Yes, I agree w/ [MENTION=902]Squishy Walnuts[/MENTION]! Take lots of pics. Also, I saw one person take a pic of her dog beside something of a fixed size every week. That was really neat to see.
