Renal failure

My, 6 month old Frenchie out of nowhere started throwing up- next day vet who gave her a nausea shot checked her blood- found it slightly off but no concern for sick dog-/ took her back next day this time blood test revealed kidney disease. Now she is in hospital and it’s expens- anyone else’s experience this? #sad

If cause isn't evident such as urinary tract infection or kidney stones or in the bloodwork they will have to do a biopsy to see what is causing kidney disease. If it's an autoimmune disease she will need an immunosupressant which will slow the progression, and she should be back to normal after a while. I hope she's ok !!!
