Scratch?

Question for anyone. Yesterday I noticed what looks like a scratch on my little girls inner thigh. This morning it's a little swollen. Is it just a scratch? Anyone seen anything like this? Should we visit the vet? I put some skin soother healing balm (natural dog company) yesterday and this morning. It doesn't seem to bother her at all, not even sure if she's aware of it.

Any blood coming from it? It does not look like a scratch to me but difficult really tell when I zoom in it is out of focus--- can you get a little closer with photo?

Kind of looks like a bite... I'd keep it clean and watch for any changes till Monday.. if no change, not any better or worse take to vet for a look

Try some nu-stock or polysporin on it. Polysporin doesn't seem to cause any harm no matter what the cause of the problem.

If it doesn't heal in a few days I would have it checked. Our boy had a spot that popped up almost overnight on his side that looked like this. We had it aspirated then removed and biopsied as a precaution. Tuned out to be a histocytoma.

I agree with the above comments--keep an eye on it to make sure it heals!

Whatever it was it scabbed over and is all healed up now. I used a little polysporin on it for 2 days. Thanks everyone!
