It's only been like 6 or 7 nights since we've started a nightly paw soak in the tub with epsom salts and now she runs into the bathroom when she hears me start the water!!

That is so cute ! You can also soak her feet in laundry tub or kitchen sink if she's small enough. You can also add betadine to the water to make it tea colored, mainly useful if you are soaking her feet in kitchen sink.

What a cutie!! Whenever Jax needs paw soaks I do them in the kitchen sink.

Twiggy runs when I run her water for baths, but she will stand in mud puddles in the yard. Makes no sense.

I was doing iodine soaks for a while and didn't want to stain my utility sink, and was searching for a good plastic container to use (that would fit into the utility sink), and ended up buying a plastic cat litter pan, which worked perfectly. LOL

Adorable pic and story.

Thanks - I wish she was small enough to do this in the sink! We just moved to a rental house until we can find something to buy. Small kitchen sink and no utility or laundry sink. Daphne is the eighth dog I've had in my life and none of them liked a routine as much as her. The second she hears the water she comes into the bathroom and waits for me to lift her in. And then when she's in there, she looks miserable, but she must like it in some capacity!

That sounds like something my Boxer would do. So funny.

Jax will run as well. If I just say the word bath he will hide.

That is hilarious!!
They are such creatures of habit!!!
You realize that you may now have to do this for a very looooong time!!
Thanks for sharing.

That is so cute. Neither one of my boys like baths, but they tolerate them.

My Bulldog MACK (RIP) used to want to shower with me everyday. I had to shut the bathroom door so he couldn't get in!

Thank you - tonight she actually flopped down and *sighed* outside the bathroom door while I was giving my daughter a bath. I guess I wasn't moving quickly enough for her highness.
