We visited her today. Soooo adorable! I am in love already. She is the SWEETEST thing! She just loves everyone, and is so excited all the time. Cant' wait!

Do you have pics of her? Have you seen pics of her babies? The breeder where we got Bambi sent me a pic of one of her three litters - adorable! I was so happy to see her babies. All three were fawn and white. Did you pick her up? Did you give her lots of kisses? Did you play? I don't want to wish spring and summer away (especially after this winter!!!), but August really isn't that far away. I am excited for you.

No, I haven't taken any pictures of her. I feel kind of odd taking a camera into someone's house and taking pictures of a dog that isn't technically mine yet lol. I don't think she would mind at all, but some people are funny about things so I didn't try. I have seen pictures of her, her litter, her parents, saw pictures of her past pups and even met one of them that is now about a year old or a little more. I didn't pick her up, but I was in the floor with her the whole time and she got in my lap and gave me kisses. I gave her lots of hugs!! She also loves my kids, who are crazy over her too!

I was telling the breeder about my plan to let her sleep in a crate until she settled in, then hoping she would sleep with me. She said "Would she sleep with you? She would LOVE to sleep with you". So, I'm excited about that.

Hee, hee; so cool! Man, I'd be like, "can I take a few pictures of Twiggy with my kids?" I bet she would be flattered. Now if you start taking pictures of her Renoir on the wall or Waterford collection, I can see how she might think that was weird.

If you're still not comfortable, how about if you ask the breeder to email some pics. Tell the breeder that Twiggy's new aunties and uncles are demanding it!

P.S. About the sleeping arrangements, I'm sure she will be more than happy to sleep with you. You might find after you try it, that she will need to sleep in her house. I love having Bambi on the bed while we watch tv - that is, until it is time to fall asleep. If Twiggy is like Bambi, she will want to lay right next to you face. I can't sleep with Bambi snoring one inch from my ear (and then there's the gas!). :w00t:

I have pictures of her, but they weren't taken by me so technically they aren't my pictures so I am not comfortable posting them. There will be plenty of pictures when she gets here though! You guys will be sick of seeing pictures of her LOL.

I'm still waiting. I'm really getting antsy as of late. When I think about it getting closer my heart starts to flutter! That's crazy isn't it? I'm loosing my mind. Maybe 4 months from now..possibly.

Hi T, that's not crazy at all. This breeder is so lucky to have found such a wonderful home as yours. Can you visit after she has her babies? I think it would be wonderful to see them as well. Although Bambi still has her teets, it's hard for me to imagine that she was a mommy and has had three litters. She is such a baby herself. The breeder sent me a pic of one of her litters (3 pups), and I love to look at it and think that Bambi made those. God bless, you will get there.

Nobody is allowed to visit while there are young puppies in the house. I can't really blame her for that. I will get to see plenty of pictures though.

Countdown is on! She is in heat now and will be bred next week. Crossing my fingers that it takes. So excited that I seriously want to cry. Once the pups are weaned she will be coming to live with me.

Na, I won't be getting a puppy lol. Her waiting list is a year or more for the pups. I will be happy with my one for now. I have a 15 year old terrier mix that is blind, diabetic, arthritic, you name it so I'll have my hands full already. I may adopt another adult from her in a few years if all goes well. My husband and I are also in love with one of the one year olds already. I jokingly said to him today that I was going to bring her home in a few years too and he said "okay, sounds good to me!". I was kind of making it a joke but testing him too, he said exactly what I wanted to hear.

Awww; yes, Clayton deserves some peace. John and I are very conscious about remember to make Ginger feel just as special as when she was before Bambi came along.

I "test" John like that all of the time and feel just like you when he says what I am hoping to hear!

I'm still waiting (impatiently). I think about her every day. We looked at new campers today and I kept thinking "ohhh she can sleep with me in this bed..she will love it" or "her crate can go here" or "there is plenty of room for us and her here on the sofa". I've got it bad!

No, not yet. I'm not sure there will be until maybe a few weeks ahead.

Once she has the pups and they are weaned she will be coming.

Not too horribly far! It will be even worse once you know she had the puppies! I can't wait for you to get your sweetie pie and share a gazillion pictures of her with us!

We are going to Virginia beach again and we're ocean side this year so our babies are going to walk the boardwalk every night before bed once the sun sets. I'll probably cry like a baby when we're leaving (8 days of paradise then back to reality)! It's all we keep talking about... What we're going to do with2 dogs this year, how fun it'll be, what we can do with them while we're there [emoji23] frenchies are infectious!
