Synthetic or actual grass?

Hello all! I currently have synthetic grass.. And I'm not going to lie but it smells terrible... I really want to put grass in the backyard.. BUT I live in an apartment. I'm willing to put grass, but is it worth it? I would love to hear your opinions

I get my doggie lawn today and I will let you know how my puppy takes to it, and how it holds up. Pee pads working OK, but I change them often right now. I hear they smell up the place if you aren't careful. Haven't considered artifical grass solution at I don't want to have to empty it!

We actually just put in our lawn yesterday. It's just a small section of our yard (about 14'x 12') and the rest is decorative pebble.

Our neighbor has the fake stuff. Yes it may be 'green'...no, you don't need to mow it...but I was not about to turn half of my yard into a giant potty pad. Yuck!

I say go for the grass. It may not be 'green' but it's CLEAN
