As much as we love toast, he's the quintessential "heartbreak breed" type Frenchie. He's a mess and only going to get worse as he ages. :/ Franco is such a love and good boy! He and Hudson adore each other.

Oh I love him, but my wallet does not to the tune of $10k+ in medical bills his first year of life.

His back legs are significantly longer than his front (will worsen as he ages), he has major breathing problems that almost killed him as a puppy, major allergies that have landed him in the emergency vet several times after stopping breathing and then having to be intubated, can't even jump onto the couch, some neurological "tics," the list goes on and on! The vet said his ideal life would be to never go outside because it's hard on his body with all his issues. Meanwhile his breeder has a great reputation and sells pups for $5k. No comment. Lol.

I understand about the costs. That's a lot of money! Especially in U.S. dollars.
