I'm not entirely sure if Bisou thinks the vacuum is an enemy that needs to be slain, or a friend that needs to be played with. Either way, she's about ripped the front panel and brushes off our Dyson and has to be locked away while I vacuum or else she does this...
Once I'm finished with the vacuuming, I let her out so she can have her fun for a couple minutes. This time, I didn't even have the vacuum on and she was going after it like a little nut! When she's behind the gate in the kitchen, she lets out the funniest death yodels! I've yet to get those on video, but I'll follow up with one. She also attacks the blow drier and the little dust buster; she barks at the blender and all of the gardeners' equipment... pretty much anything that makes any noise! Her little butt hackles crack me up when she gets all riled up from a noise she can't see the source of.
Shasta, on the other hand, is the total opposite. She runs and hides from pretty much any noise. The vacuum, the blender, this fun little toy that makes a popping noise and launches treats into the air, the sound of ice shifting (seriously)... How are your pups around noises and equipment?
