Holy smokes I didn't read that last part before I replied!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY would she be so adamant on you bringing her back if she was just going to leave her and all the other dogs outside all day? This makes me so sad......
Originally toast's dad was supposed to have her for a week, then the breeder announced that she's going on a trip and wants her back beforehand. So he only had her for three days and didn't feel it was long enough to make a decision. Then the breeder said never mind you can keep her till I'm back, but changed her mind again so he had to return her after the three days.
The next day apparently the breeder left all of her dogs (she has like 8 frenchies) home alone all day outside. Her 35 lb stud attacked Lulu (she's not spayed) and broke her leg and she was left sitting out in the sun immobile all day. When the breeder finally got back and took her to the vet, the vet recommended euthanasia. Luckily she improved enough that they decided not to euthanize, but it's going to be a slow, touchy recovery.
My heart is hurting over this. I hadn't posted about it because I didn't know if she would make it and I was so upset with the blatant negligence. But so far it looks like she will recover, at least to some extent.

That's exactly what I thought.
"Hurry and bring me back my dog so I can leave it in horrible conditions for a French bulldog."???
Goodness that is still just so sad! I really cannot even believe she let something so tragic happen when it could have been easily prevented MULTIPLE ways.
She's beyond cute and has THE sweetest personality. I was surprised how needy she is since she's a female but all she wants is attention.
Lol don't ask me about that one! I have no idea. I think because toast was getting upset being alone in the day after he got used to having Hudson around and we are moving next week.

eeturk, is she okay? Is your friend going to take her?
She's doing okay as far as I understand. She's eating and can walk a little now, but I don't know much since I have no direct connection to the breeder. She will definitely survive and will likely be ok.
I'm not sure if toast's dad will get her now or what his plan is. I know he was discouraged that she didn't get along that well with toast right off the bat.

Here's a little photo update for y'all:
She's eating and seems to have her personality back. I agree on all points RE the breeder but I'm so angry about the whole thing I just can't even get into it on here. It just makes me feel really grateful to know what a wonderful life Hudson is able to have and I'm thankful that he will never be in a position to have something like that happen. I think that's basically all I can take out of it that's appropriate for a public forum! Lol.
Thanks everyone for your well wishes. I am moving and stressed and this added on was really darn tough! I was quite upset about it and am always so thankful for the support on this forum.
