Three's company...

Holy smokes I didn't read that last part before I replied!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY would she be so adamant on you bringing her back if she was just going to leave her and all the other dogs outside all day? This makes me so sad......

That's exactly what I thought.

"Hurry and bring me back my dog so I can leave it in horrible conditions for a French bulldog."???

Goodness that is still just so sad! I really cannot even believe she let something so tragic happen when it could have been easily prevented MULTIPLE ways.

Originally toast's dad was supposed to have her for a week, then the breeder announced that she's going on a trip and wants her back beforehand. So he only had her for three days and didn't feel it was long enough to make a decision. Then the breeder said never mind you can keep her till I'm back, but changed her mind again so he had to return her after the three days.

The next day apparently the breeder left all of her dogs (she has like 8 frenchies) home alone all day outside. Her 35 lb stud attacked Lulu (she's not spayed) and broke her leg and she was left sitting out in the sun immobile all day. When the breeder finally got back and took her to the vet, the vet recommended euthanasia. Luckily she improved enough that they decided not to euthanize, but it's going to be a slow, touchy recovery.

My heart is hurting over this. I hadn't posted about it because I didn't know if she would make it and I was so upset with the blatant negligence. But so far it looks like she will recover, at least to some extent.

I just hate people sometimes! Poor babies. I hope she has a full recovery.

Ummm exactly!!!!!! Like what the heck?!

This breeder needs to be shut down permanently! What the hell???? Poor puppies. :(

She's beyond cute and has THE sweetest personality. I was surprised how needy she is since she's a female but all she wants is attention.

Lol don't ask me about that one! I have no idea. I think because toast was getting upset being alone in the day after he got used to having Hudson around and we are moving next week.

I probably should continue reading to check for updates and I will, but this is just horrible!!! My heart hurts, too. Please God, let her be alright.

eeturk, is she okay? Is your friend going to take her?

She's doing okay as far as I understand. She's eating and can walk a little now, but I don't know much since I have no direct connection to the breeder. She will definitely survive and will likely be ok.

I'm not sure if toast's dad will get her now or what his plan is. I know he was discouraged that she didn't get along that well with toast right off the bat.

Well I'm glad that she will be okay... But saddened for her that she's stuck with that monster who caused all of her suffering with their own blatant ignorance and negligence!

Gosh, that poor girl...

I only wish all will turn out ok for that little one. God knows how she has suffered already enough in her short life and all cause of that ignorant human. How dare that person dare to call itself a breeder! :cursing: People like that should never own pets let alone breed them!

The best update ever will be that she has found her way away from that place either to be with Toast or some other loving family.

Here's a little photo update for y'all:

She's eating and seems to have her personality back. I agree on all points RE the breeder but I'm so angry about the whole thing I just can't even get into it on here. It just makes me feel really grateful to know what a wonderful life Hudson is able to have and I'm thankful that he will never be in a position to have something like that happen. I think that's basically all I can take out of it that's appropriate for a public forum! Lol.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. I am moving and stressed and this added on was really darn tough! I was quite upset about it and am always so thankful for the support on this forum.

What a sweetie...
I can imagine she's feeling the same way as we are! Confused, sad, & upset about why this happened!

She didn't deserve that!

I totally understand your stress about all of this. And I am so thankful that ALL of us on this forum give such love to our frenchies and they are all as safe and happy as possible! And if they aren't, well we work on it! It really opens your eyes!

I hope the move goes smoothly!
