Fingers crossed for little Titan. I can't believe what an ordeal this has been. He is so, so lucky to have you! I hate to think about what could have been if he had ended up with someone else.

It sounds like this breeder needs to be stopped, and now. It is wonderful that you have the (legal) resources to pursue action. Here's hoping the system works for you.

I am really glad that he found you though, because I don't think there are very many people that would do what all you have done for him. What did his last fecal test show?

That breeder needs to go out of business!!! I'm so disgusted for you by her behaviour!!! I wish you all the luck in the world to go after her.

Secondly, I would submit a complaint to the Humane Society. They should NEVER give out information of who brought the breeder to their attention.

Immodium is safe for dogs also. I can't remember the dosage right off hand though. If the Pepto doesn't work, ask the vet about Immodium. You have to stop giving it when the diarrhea stops though, or they could get constipated.

Update on Titan's vet appt...

He gained a small amount of weight. He's now 4.7lbs.

Vet switched his probiotic to a paste type, with an anti-diarrhea in the probiotic, and this is 2-3 times a day, whichever we choose based on results we see or just how we feel on it that day.

He got his puppy shots. Vet was getting nervous that he hasn't had any yet and since he put on weight, and he's already sick she made the call. Glad he's had some now. A small peace of mind considering everything else going on.

All the breeder crap aside I'm SO glad he's putting on weight! I hope he'll be 100% soon!

I find wine very good for stress relief.
