im in the uk and i bought a puppy the breeder said bald spots were old flea bites but i took her to the vets and they started to say dermadex...but she dus not scratch.some dry skin.its not red infected or inflamed.iv now put her on chappie tin and Harringtons dry.im giving her fish oil with omega 3 and 6 and rubbing coconut oil in her skin...iv bought the peroxide shampoo but not used it yet the shampoo i have got is wahl oatmeal with coconut oil in it.the tiny bald spots are head.down the back of the neck.feet and legs and tail.any ideas folks pls

She may have mange and your vet should do a skin scape to test and confirm...... unfortunately, I do not know much on the food you are feeding, but try to avoid grains. The coconut oil will help , but really need to rule out mange/mites.

:smileywelcome: to you and your pup. You should contact the breeder and let her know what the vet said, her pups need treatment!

Hi there. I'm in the UK, and I'd really suggest changing your food (in addition to skin scrapes). Have a look here: All About Dog Food.co.uk

Chappie is one of the worst, coming in around 0.7 out of 5 in ratings. Its also an adult food. There are much better foods available that could really help. I'm speaking from experience, having tried multiple food types in an attempt to sort out skin issues.

If you like the complete tins, have a look at Pets At Home Wainwrights brand. Many varieties to suit all tastes, and grain free options available. Hopefully you can find something suitable and tasty for your pup :-)
