Hello everyone! I have a female French Bulldog and plan to get Bambi a brother or sister next year. I do plan on having him/her be another French Bulldog, but I would like some feedback from those of you that have two females and from those of you who have a female and male. I have been told from some that we should get a male frenchie because they will get along better and told from others that the sex doesn't matter. I would love to hear your experiences and steps that were taken with bringing a new fur baby in the house. :D

I have a female French bulldog and got a female English bulldog ( first introduced the two in a neutral outside environment ) and had to eventually rehome the English bulldog since the two would occasionally fight ferociously. I would say it's safer to get a male if you already have a female.

Chances are always better with opposite sexes... I would get a male

I would get a male, also. I think they are more even tempered!

In my experience having two females is no problem. Two males on the other hand can be troublesome. Having one boy and one girl can be an issue when the female is in heat. But maybe your dog is spayed? If you would decide to neuter the male then having a male as a second dog would be fine too.
