My phone was acting up, and we've been busy, but now we're back!

Here is Isabelle cuddling with Dina, which turned into Isabelle biting Dina (playfully) :-P

(They still can't manage to get along, but we're working on it.)

And Isabelle with her Wubba! Best toy ever.

Any other frenchies obsessed with the Kong Wubba? Isabelle picked it out at PetCo by herself and wouldn't let it go, so naturally it came home with us. It's a necessity!

Good to see you back!

At least they are able to snuggle without any issues. Some dogs just need extra time.

I had that toy once, until Uma ripped the fabric and started to eat it. *sigh* Only non-fabric toys for my pups.

That is a sweet snuggle! We can't have cloth toys here, either! They get shredded and eaten!

I'm glad to be back I missed so much! I almost feel bad!

Isabelle doesn't even try to tear up fabric, especially not the Wubba tough fabric... Maybe I'm Especially lucky! Haha!

I was gone so long it's already almost time for you to get your cutie it seems! Lol!

Ha! Ha! Don't I wish!!!! I think about that little joker constantly! I'm already thinking about all the things I can buy her when I go on vacation because they have dog shops and "barkerys". I am thinking about visiting her after Christmas, where we can stay next year on vacation that she can come with us. I'm obsessed!

We took Isabelle with us to Virginia Beach in September :)

It was nice to bring her! And we brought her kennel. So if we wanted to leave her she would be safe!

I bet she loved that. I was thinking we will take a kennel for her when we go just to keep her safe while we go out to eat or whatever. Whether we stay in a hotel or cabin, I was just thinking what if housekeeping came in and she ran out. I'm so paranoid.

At hotels it's mandatory that you crate them when you leave the room.

And ours gave us a little tag that said "the dog is in" so housekeeping knew :)

Ah ok! I've never stayed in a dog friendly hotel before. We have a camper and we often camp, but the last few years we have stayed in hotels or cabins. I don't take my little old dog because of his health issues. He stays at the Veterinary hospital where I work when I am vacationing. My Pekingese would just stay with him because they were so used to each other. He is doing well without her around though. I miss her like crazy. :( He loves it there though because he's so used to it, even going to work with me for the day a lot of times.

I never have either til this vacation!

It was $25 for 4 days/nights. :) some hotels charge $20-35 a night.

If you rent a house/cabin for vacation I think there are different rules, but that would be discussed with the owners prior regardless :) I think that is what we're planning for this summer! I can't wait!

Was the hotel clean? I am a bit weary of staying in a dog friendly hotel. I keep thinking what if people don't keep their dogs clean and flea free, or what if they mess in the floor. Are the carpets cleaned after every person leaves? Most of the cabins I see are wood floors so I feel like they are cleaner. I have a whole year before I will be going anywhere and taking her, but I'm already making plans and studying on the situation. :)

I felt like it was plenty clean!

Gave isabelle her flea meds & heartworm the night before just to be safe, but I wouldn't have known it was dog friendly if it weren't for actually seeing people walking in the halls with their dogs!

We let isabelle run around and play in the room, I felt fine with it. And the housekeeping was really nice!

I've rented a cabin and a lake house with Jax. The rules for both were that dogs are not allowed on the furniture, they have to have flea treatment, pick up after them in the yard and must be potty trained, do not leave home alone, etc.

I did cheat a little at the lake house this summer and a brought a big blanket to cover the couch to allow Jax up there.

I'm pretty sure you aren't the first one to cheat lol. If someone loves their dogs enough to take them on vacation with them, they are likely going to be on the sofa. :)

I actually got the idea from someone at work lol. When Jax sleeps, he likes to lay on top of someone. And I will admit that I brought an air mattress to sleep on so that Jax was able to sleep with me. The only time he sleeps on the floor in a dog bed is when he's home alone. He is beyond spoiled lol. :D

Cheli loved those for awhile, but now he is into antlers.... He rotates his toy favoriteon a regular basis.

Isabelle has 2 cat toys, a plastic football, & the Wubba. Her favs no matter what other toys she has.

Glad your back. We have a smaller toy like that for the pups, but can't get one for the adults, our English will tear them up. :)
