I feed Fromm 4 Star Grain Free but I am looking for some great fruit and veggie treats for my little guy. I want to wean him off feeding 3 times a day to 2 times a day but for lunch as a treat make a little "salad" of fresh produce. I feed bananas here and there but what else is nutritious? I know pumpkin is as well. I'm going to Whole Foods soon to buy a little mix of things you guys recommend. Thanks!

Kale and Broccoli are full of Chlorophyll, so those would be great options.
Carrots,Apples,Bananas you name it. Pretty much everything can be given except raising and onions and only a minimum of grapes and Avocado.
You could add some dandelion, coconut oil,Spirulina,Turmeric and/or Fish Oil. A lot of options :p
I would puree it though or at least chop it up into tiny pieces that way its easily digestible.
And always consider : moderation and variety is the key :) & if possible organic.

Jax loves strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and watermelon but they are all out of season now. Apples and bananas are good too. I also give Jax carrots, green beans, peas. Sometimes if I am chopping broccoli I will give him a little bit. I think I recently gave him some zucchini and he liked that as well. As I type this, I'm beginning to wonder if there is anything Jax doesn't like. Hmmm...

I make sure there are frozen fruit pkgs he loves a few frozen strawberry s melon, raspberry on hand and goes great in hot oatmeal for me

Hudson loves baby carrots and frozen mixed berries. He loves ice and berries so frozen berries are like his dream!

Looks like everyone has you covered on the fruits and veggies, I just would not give grapes at all.

the gang has you covered... green beans are a big one with us as well as baby carrots, strawberries and banana

I agree with all except the grapes, don't take a chance. They kill some dogs!

Enzo and his pug sister are currently going crazy for strawberries I gave them two each chopped up and their going crazy looking for more! They really liked banana to I'll have to try carrots and apples next! Thanks all

I use bananas, blue berries, strawberries, and apples!

I've also used freeze-dried cranberries. :)

The Sergeant loves all fruit. We feed dark berries, bananas, melons and apples. NO SEEDS! He also loves sweet potato and yam slices. He and I share pretty much everything. I also feed him dehydrated dog veggies, sweet potato chips and apple chips. He loves fresh cooked green beans and loves raw or cooked carrots. He sleeps next to my chair while I work and when it's snack time he jumps up to grab his share of fruit and veggies. Cutest thing I ever saw and if you don't give him his share he "peeps" to let you know he's waiting.:D

Frozen berries are a great idea....my boys like ice too and fruit. I will have to try that. Mine love bananas and apples. When I eat either one, both my boys are at my feet asking for some. My husband hates that I share but I like spoiling them.
