Bleeding from anus after hematoma ear surgery

The day after my doggo had surgery I spied one droplet of red blood on his anus. Because this was a one off and his stools were not compromised. I decided to go with the wait and watch approach. He had had a very traumatic day prior and he seemed to be picking up some pep in his step. Tonight though four days after his surgery he was spinning on the carpet and after he moved there was a red circle. Even though the carpet was not drenched and it seems to be lighter on the top - the increase in amount is cause for concern. My question to the group is have any of you experienced this after surgery? Could this be due to the antibiotics or anti inflammatory he is on? He’s still walking around, eating, and drinking as normal. Please help!

I would contact the vet that perform the surgery and see what they say.

It could be from stress of the procedure process.... how are they now?
