Buster has a new (to him) home and yard and new neighbor dogs and kids to play with!!!

Our house sold and we moved in June. Buster and his older English brother, Ruggles made a smooth transition. Katze, the cat, made an easy transition also. It was like, whew, I have only 2 acres to patrol, not 20 acres anymore. There aren't anywhere near the number of preditors in the area either so she has the freedom to stay out all night if she chooses!

Preditors?

Where we lived before was close to the mountains, the tree line, and we had fox, coyotes, wolves, cougar, bear, etc. really close by. We made Katze (cat) stay in at night to make sure she stayed safe.

Great news!!! Happy they all adjusted well. Must be nice to not have to worry about him when he's outside

We have that problem here. So stressful letting my babies out at night in the dark

Buster looks very happy! Congrats on the new house! We love having a fully fenced back yard to keep other animals out.

Fantastic news! And there is Buster looking handsome as usual. Congrats on your new home!

Awesome, and congrats on the new house. :) Buster seems happy out there. :)

We do too. Our back yard is deer fenced so the deer leave our landscaping alone and don't come right up to the house and look in the windows!

I am so envious. I want to live out in the country, with chickens and a miniature horse and maybe one of those little goats.

:D

If I were younger I would have a couple of those cute little horses, too. Now, I want a little French buddy for Buster when Ruggles goes to join his brothers!

I volunteer at a horse rescue and get my horsie fix that way. They have a miniature horse (Sweet Pea) and she is tiny - I think 32" at the withers, although she looks just like a horse. Some of them can look kind of weird. Such a good girl.

When Ginger passes (I hope she is with us a very long time!), we will get Bambi a frenchie sibling.

When we lived in Central OR our vet raised miniature horses. I was very tempted!

Good for you volunteering at a horse rescue!
