Flea or something else ?

Hey guy's I found this bug near Meeka's bed last night and I'm not sure if it's a flea or something else. I searched high and low and couldn't find any more in the house or on Meeka. However it's driving me nuts so I figured I ask around if anyone knows ?

Doesnt look like a flea to me. Im not a 'bug expert' by any means, but Id say its most certainly not a flea.

Now I'm going to have to google earwigs. Our house is infested with stink bugs!!! Disgusting. Since Monday I have been keeping a chart of how many we find each day. I am up to 15 - one day it was 10 in one day!

Ok good to know it's not a flea !! The picture isn't 100% clear but the bug doesn't have any pitchers in the back like an earwig. It has the same body type except for the pitchers.

I totally missed that there were no pincers .... either way, it is not a flea -- might be some type of beetle?

Not a flea or an ear wig. Earwigs have pincers on their rears.

Titan sniffed a giant stink bug that was crawling up my back screen door... It stunk on him. They smell gross and poor Titan was scrunching his face all up in disgust haha!

I washed his face with some warm water and the stink was gone haha.

Haha yes it went away immediately. He was so funny with his reaction! I felt bad because he's deaf so his eye sight and smelling are heightened, so he was pretty upset about it stinking him! Haha!

haha! No actually but that's very funny! I couldn't see the pic very clearly on my phone and really thought it was an earwig.
