Goat milk??

Hello,
I have a question,for how long can a puppy 12 weeks can take goat milk ?
He had Giardia
Now he's recovering really well
He's eating honest kitchen brave formula ( fish & coconut oil ) I mix that with goat milk
The vet told me that wasn't good for him(the goat milk)
But I'm scare to change anything!

It won't hurt him, goats milk is the only milk that they can drink that won't upset their tummy's. If we have to bottle feed pups, we use goats milk, and so does a lot of other breeders I know.
