Hazel needs our prayers please

Our Hazel has been plagued with UTI's for the past few years and has crystals in her urine. Her Ph in her urine was a little high, and that can help the crystals to grow, so we put ACV in their water. That has helped bring her ph down, but she still has the crystals. we had out vet so an ultra-sound on her bladder, and she found a mass in Hazel's bladder. The vet doesn't know what it is. It could be scare tissue, a benign mass or cancer. She sent in her urine to a lab for testing to see if there is still an infection growing, and doing another test to see if any cells from the mass are in her urine. Hopefully we will find out Tuesday or Wednesday what it is and we hope it is just scare tissue. If the test results don't tell us, we will have to do a biopsy to find out. We are praying it isn't cancer and just scare tissue or an infection. If it's an infection the lab will recommend which treatment she will need. My poor baby girl, I hope we can get her healed. If it is cancer, it is inoperable because of the place it is in.

OK, got the results back. Hazel will be on Clavamox for a month, and she will get another ultrasound after that. So far they didn't find any cancer cells, but we still do not know what the mass is. I just hope after the antibiotics, the mass shrinks, but we will see. Thank you for all your prayers and good thoughts for Hazel, it means a lot to us. :heart:

Oh gosh I am so glad that, at least for now, the burden of that worry can be lifted!

I'll be hoping the mass shrinks with this treatment!
