Hi everyone! I'm a Frenchie newbie. I'm awaiting my first pup this summer. In the meantime I am
Educating myself as much as possible. I have had one bully breed in the past so that may help. No doubt I have lots to learn. I found a really good AKC breeder, so that's a good start. Thanks in advance for all your expertise! LadyOfTheLake

:welcome3: to FBN .... congrats on the new baby!

Welcome and can't wait to see pictures when you get your new baby!

Hello & Welcome
Can't wait to see pictures when you get your puppy!

Thanks, I know everyone here must have had that time when they were waiting for their FIRST Frenchie! It's practically painful! Does that sound crazy?

Me too! I'm already over the moon and I don't have a picture yet!

Okay, I'm doing something wrong. Can I collectively thank you all for making me feel welcome without sounding like a skipping record? I appreciate all of you! I am at the point of practically STALKING every pic I can of this beautiful breed while I wait. I live with ( okay more than a little jealousy ) an aching sort of overwhelming need for my own Frenchie. I have been assured that this is NORMAL for those destined to share their lives with these unique furry babies. It's true, when I see one in " real life", I flip out and turn into someone I don't recognize as an adult. I promise I am a well adjusted person who has shared her life ( and her family's lives ) with several loyal doggie family members. I remain a quivering pile of jello waiting for my Frenchie. Crazy, right?

Absolutely the personality of a soon-to-be Frenchie ADDICT. ;)
You'll never recover from this addiction.

I own two now and when I see one in person, I see something with a Frenchie on it, hear someone talk about a French bulldog i become a lunatic compared to the average person!

Blushy,
Thanks for reassuring me of my mental status because if this was an
"Obsession" I had no intention of seeking treatment! I give myself over willingly
to these bat-eared delights!

Nu2frenchie,
If super excited means spending all day dreaming of my own little one snorting
and snoring (and potentially farting) on my lap - lol. Yes, I AM!
