Help: Not sure what this is?

Today I came home to find my puppy (who is neutered) to have an inflamed ball like mass that came out of no where. He's 5 months old and its right where his neutering was. He was neutered a while ago and has no issues whatsoever. Im worried it could be a bite, mass or even and abscess. Does anyone have any insight on what this could be or have had similar issues? Does this look like it needs immediate medical attention or can wait until the morning?

I'd put some antibiotic ointment like polysporin or neosporin ointment and take him to vet in am - thre's a chance he might need oral antibiotics or need it surgically removed.

Keep us posted- how is your dog doing?

It could be a reaction to the sutures, which is common. Take him to your vet, he may have to lance it, and sometimes try to get the suture out.
