Bear came home on Friday, and he's too awesome for words!

We're on our third day, and he already goes to the backyard door when he has to pee - not a single accident so far! *crossing fingers*
He LOVES his baby pool. We weren't in the yard for five minutes before he dived in on his own to get a tennis ball.
We took him to meet his puppy daycare/socialization place yesterday, and he warmed up to the big dogs within minutes.
He does get very lonely at night, but the birds help to calm him down when they 'talk' to him in the dark. Lol.

Overall, he's a well-rounded little guy and an absolute love-bug.
Praying for continued good heath and many happy years to come.

And I love the pic with all his stuffies. It helped Maple a lot to sleep the first few nights since they are so used to cuddling with mommy and sibling. You can also try a warm water bottle wrapped in a towel or a rice sock warmed in the microwave for extra warmth until he falls asleep.

I actually bought the Snuggle Puppy. It's a stuffed dog with a heart beat and a pouch for a warmer.

But I'll try the water bottle idea! Very economical.

I did notice him curl up to it a few times, but he honestly likes all of his stuffies.

6 days in and he no longer cries at all during the night unless to pee. He woke us up twice to go pee last night - he didn't even want to use his crate pad. Hurray!

Oh gosh - he is too darn cute! Really, too cute.
My Frenchie was surprisingly easy to train - crossing my fingers Bear will be just as good. Be consistent and you should be fine.

Thank you! We're crossing our fingers that we've laid the groundwork for success. Seems to be the case so far! I praise him like a lunatic when he pees on the lawn so it must have done the job. Lol.
