We are getting another Frenchie!

I am beyond excited!

Because I would like to breed Maple next year, and she passed her health tests without any problems (still need to get Hip & Elbow xrayed but I dont have any concerns), I started looking for a stud.
Unfortunately I could not find one that I liked and that has passed all health tests that I feel are essential. (Fyi its a quite scary how little tests some 'reputable' breeders do).
So the next option would have been an AI from a foreign stud.
One thought/idea turned into another and I ended up being interested in purchasing a male from Europe.
Long story short : I am flying down to Germany the beginning of July to pick up a gorgous boy with great pedigree and health tested parents, grandparents etc.

I haven't quite realized it myself, but I am really getting a second Frenchie and Maple is getting 'brusband' (brother/husband) Haha.

Oh my goodness!!! YAYYY! SO HAPPY FOR YOU! count down is on!!! Have you thought of a name? When is the litter due? Or is he born already? If so what color ? If not What colors are the mom and dad?

Thanks everybody.

The litter was born on April 18th, so the pup will be 11 weeks when I pick him up. Usually breeders in Germany dont give the dogs to their new homes until 11-12 weeks.
I havent decided on a name yet, but I do already have a list with names I like. (I am not going to be calling him by his kennel name lol).
I will post pictures soon.

My brother, who lives in Germany, will visit the puppies in two weeks. I am so jealous!
I am also a little nervous about traveling with the pup but Im sure we will be alright. I have already started with the preparations

When we import our Moses he was in his carry on soft bag and practically slept the whole flight. Yours is going to be slightly longer though so don't forget to stock up on pee pads :tongue:

He's SO CUTE OMG Frenchie puppies (bulldog puppies in general) are the cutest things on earth oh gosh! I wish I could pause time and keep them that small!

A little update : I will be getting a different puppy. Long story short : My mother and brother went to visit the breeder. Turns out the pup I had my eyes on was an absolute trouble maker. Fun little guy, but Maple is already very outgoing and easily excitable, so I talked to the breeder and two dogs with 'bees in their pants(as you would say in Germany)' might not be a good mix. I would have my hands full. She had another male available (someone had been interested but they didnt put down a deposit or anything yet) that is the exact opposite. Super calm and relaxed. Of course puppies are puppies and playing and running is absolutely normal and I am expecting it, the other male just seemed of 'calmer nature'. My mom absolutely fell in love with him. I think it is a wise decision to add a calmer dog to our chaotic family lol

The mom is Tamila ot Puppet Master(Russia) and the Dad is Bulls of Crown Einstein (Hungary).

I am getting a little nervous about the flight, but I hope it will all be fine. How did the departure and landing go? Was that uncomfortable for the pup?
