Living with Frenchies...

I thought it would be funny to start up a thread of the funny/wacky/weird things that we encounter as French bulldog owners that don't necessarily include our Frenchie when they happen.

(It basically applies to living with any dogs but this is a Frenchie forum and most of us have at least 1 Frenchie even if there is another breed in the home.)

Similar to my bloopers thread, just a thread that when something funny pops up, we can have all of the funny things in one place! Once there are many posts it will be funny to look back on for all of us!

I'll start...

This morning when I woke up my nose was itchy... There was dog hair inside of it. #LivingWithFrenchies

Woke up today with Banksy sitting upright... staring at me... in complete silence.

That's his way of letting me know "its morning and I need to pee!"

I found this hilarious, but it is nice he is so patient LOL

Great idea for a thread! I'm loving the stories so far.

Wally was sitting there staring at me while I was reading, looking all adorable. I put my face right in front of his, gave him a kiss on his head and asked 'Who's Mommy's favorite boy?' He answered by sneezing right in my face, and in my mouth.

I love it when I insist that Bambi go outside to potty and she looks for a way around me. (I put the gate up to the kitchen a soon as she goes in the great room.) Then I get behind her and walk toward the door and move me leg if I can tell she wants to get past me. As soon as she figures out she isn't going to win, she absolutely races outside like it was her idea all along!

Love this! I'm new to this world but she is so demanding. .has my whole house wrapped around her paw. She hates hey crate and barks non stop of you dare walk past without speaking to the princess.

Sounds about right! Titan is a booger boy and will not hesitate to blast you at any time! They're lucky they are so cute!

I will never go to the bathroom alone again. I also have to have a "decoy pillow" that I place above my normal pillow. This way when Hudson inevitably migrates to sleep on my head every night I can at least keep one pillow. I've also somehow transitioned from being someone who needed dead quiet to sleep to someone who can sleep with the equivalent of a running lawnmower on my head.

I can no longer eat an orange without being harassed for some! Actually, I can't even pick one up without Dexter going crazy!! The funny thing is, he hadn't even tasted it the first time he went mad - he could just smell that he wanted it!

Penenelope sleeps on my shoulders, neck, and head almost every night and I mean "and" not "or" because she moves to all 3 spots during the course of the night! And heaven help me at night because she and boyfriend snore sometimes those nights I want to kick them both out!!!

We have said goodbye to bedroom privacy and no more showers alone :tongue: Our guys are really determined if you close a bathroom door in front of them and they just keep on banging it until you let them in. Few times our boys have been with my mum, and it is so strange to eat a pizza on a sofa without anyone drooling over it

Cheli is my shadow 24/7 if I am in the house he is with me... at my feet or on my lap. The other thing that cracks me up is the 'yard laps'.... he goes full throttle in the yard speeding in circles for about 5-10 mins, Lambeau just stands and stares at him and as Cheli slows down, Lambeau will ponce and the wrestling ensues

Too funny!! When Wally wants to run he'll usually eyeball Uma, who will yell and run after him around the yard. He loves being chased.

Banksy hasn't been able to do his zoomies lately (mad dash in circles around the yard) because our backyard is full of SO MUCH SNOW but the other day my boyfriend let him out and its like nothing could stop him. he started racing around and then tried jumping over this massive snow pile, and didn't gage it properly, and all of a sudden he dropped into the snow pile and just completely disappeared. my boyfriend said it was the funniest thing he had ever seen. he called me right away to tell me about it just laughing hysterically! haha silly boy. apparently he ran out of the snow pile looking so shocked with snow all over his body and face

I wish Bambi liked the snow. You would think we were torturing her by letting her outside when there is snow on the ground. Luckily this year, we have had hardly any snow which suits her just fine. She is a total house diva.

That used to be my chair and thank you for keeping my spot warm. Yes they will remember you I am wearing a lot of your hair how could they miss it. Why is it when i pet you after doing zoomies it starts all over again ?
