Maple at 6 months

I cant believe how fast my little girl is growing up.
Saturday she turned 6 months. Here some pictures :

I noticed Maple is quite tall and has a long back. I hope she will soon fill out.
Do you think she is too big ? The majority of Frenchies that are competing with Maple in the ring are quite short. Sturdy but very short! (Maple was their size with a couple months)

But I love my baby girl no matter what

I noticed the same with the pics [MENTION=4]davidh[/MENTION] posted of Ellen. Very short and stocky. Is that what they call cobby? Personally, I don't think she looks too tall. I've never read of a height requirement like Beagles have (have to be under however many inches). She is beautiful! How did the show go?

The show went better than the one last weekend,I was still not quite satisfied though but that okay. Left with a first place ribbon - there was only one 6-10 mths in der Breed

And Maple turned 6 months on that day ,would have loved to enter another baby puppy class - thats moreso our league at the moment

But with practise comes perfection.

Maple is a nice looking Frenchie. It's hard to tell from the pics, but she does look a little tall, but I would need a good side stacked pic to tell. Frenchies should be compactly built, and of medium or small structure, and not to be over 28 lbs. They need to be what we call "balanced" meaning the height and length should be working together. If you look at them from the front, between their front legs and chest, it should very close to square. Here are a couple pics of her older brother Ch. Ben, so you can see what I'm talking about.
