MONDAY BLUES :(

Good afternoon

hope everyone had a great weekend with their best four legged friends.

I dont know about your dog, but is it just me or is chowder more needy and cries more when alone on mondays.

i think its because we spend almost 24/7 with him on the weekends, and on monday its back to normal. Does this happen to anyone else? hahhaha just thought i'd share. thank you

We are fortunate enough to be home with both our babies, so we really don't have a Monday blues deal. But I do admit time is always on my mind when we are out and about because I don't like to leave them too long. Don't let him make you feel too guilty, you have to have a life! Also I think it helps if you don't make a big deal when you leave or when you return.

Jax sometimes gets the same way! He is home alone Monday - Thursday, sometimes on Fridays. He is always super excited to see everyone on Mondays (and other days too). I try to send him to daycare a couple times a month so he can run around and get his energy out.

Chance is in his pen M - F 8-4 out at noon when the waIker comes in for haIf hour so when the weekend is here he has a fieId day with us then sad sack week days

We are retired here so we are home a lot with our boys.

I think your baby needs a buddy. Ours seem to do OK during the week.

I'm a stay at home mom. Running errands for various times and days of the week. When daddy is home from work Isabelle is spoiled rotten, but doesn't seem to care if she's alone or not from what I can tell.

Maybe I'm lucky or I actually did something right in my training (probably not lol)

Mondays aren't any different for Wally but we do have another dog so they have each other for company. Maybe you need to get him a buddy.

Luckily, I work from home, so I get to spend tons of time with Q (probably too much). Unfortunately, I work from home, so Q becomes distraught when I leave to run errands. Mind you, in the video, my dad was watching her, yet she was and always is still a wreck.

This was a few months ago when Q was still in a baby x-pen. And pardon the mess. I had to barricade her in, otherwise she'd push the gate around.

Mondays are just a day now as I have took the next 4 months off to work on some health issues and dog training poor confused Chance

Leo, I think, gets the Wednesday blues (or attitude as it seems). They both love that we are with them on the weekends, and don't seem to mind being left at home (I hate it by the way) on Monday, Tuesday, but by Wednesday, I think Leo has had enough. He gets such an attitude (mostly toward Mommy) where he will not cuddle and wants to be left alone basically (unless there is food involved), but he won't cuddle, kiss or play with me like he normally does and just mopes around the rest of the evening until bed time. Then on Thursday, he's back to his normal self.

What a little 'tude my dude has!! He's funny!
