We picked up Milo from a breeder in the west side in Manhattan,once my girlfriend seen him she instantly said he looks like a Milo.Idk???If it was up to me i would've called him vinny! Lol but i do call him squishy face like from the movie Jar head! Lol She hates when i call him that.

We discussed many names and my wife came up with one crazier than the other.

Finally we agreed on Fosca, which is "dark" in catalan. My wife is from Valencia, Spain, and Fosca is a bit more PC than Negra, which is "dark" in spanish.

I saw my baby girl and thought Penelope! Lol she was small but rambunctious and I wanted a semi French sounding name as well lol (I somethings say her name with a French Accent) i usually call her Big Mama when I walk in the door and the SO calls her Penny sometimes lol btw I loved reading this thread it was so entertaining!

Buster was named after Buster Posey the catcher for the SF Giants. We also call him Buddy and Augie which means baby in Korean.

Our previous frenchie was named Stella after the beer but we couldn't think of a good name sticking to the beer theme.

Lol there is a beer called Victory "Golden Monkey" my BF loves lol I could see me naming a puppy that Golden Monkey hahahahaha or Peroni which is an Italian beer.

I wish I had a more interesting story on how I came up with Rico's name lol. Basically I made a list of names I liked with a group of friends...

Rico
Ricky
Benjamin
Bruno
Diddy
Diego
Oscar
Pablo
Esteban
Duke

Rico, Ricky and Bruno were my top three... Then I realized Rico and Ricky were quite similar and I could pair the two together as his official name would be Rico and I'll call him Ricky... Lol

With that.... My mother who recently passed away in February LOVED dogs and LOVED LOVED LOVED I love Lucy.... So in her honor his full official registration name when he comes home will be:

Amy's "Little Ricky" Rico Suave
