Need weight gain

Hi my frenchie is 1 years old weighing 17 pounds. I feed him my perfect pet turkey and salmon 1 bar a day one half in the morning and the other half for dinner, with half a hard boiled egg and some Greek yogurt. What else can fatten him up?

Not sure what the perfect pet bars are but have you tried increasing his food intake? Or maybe trying a more fatty protein?

Does your vet recommend Leonard gain weight? A picture would help.

I would try to up the amount of his food a bit and see if he tolerates it ok (he will get the runs if you overfeed) If that doesn't work then I would try a different recipe/protein.

I don't have a recent pic I'll take one tomorrow but yeah I'm going to increase his food more

I think I figured out why he hasn't gain weight the food he is on now is 4% min crude fat this one right here https://www.myperfectpetfood.com/store/products/2/hunters-turkey-salmon-blend I was looking at primal and Stella and chewy their around 12% I wonder if that's the reason he hasn't gain weight. I'm going to try Stella and chewys because he would always throw up on primal. He used to be 20lbs but now 17lbs.
