Hello Everyone!

This is Ollie, the new love of our lives! We got him at 11 weeks and he's now 14 weeks.

When we first got him, he became ill because we think he may have gotten into one of our house plants (that has since been thrown away), he has since made a full recovery. However, he's SUCH a poop monster!! He defecates anywhere from 8-12 times a day and has the smelliest farts (to which yogurt has not helped much)

So aside from his bowels, he's quite the angel.

Pups are poop machines for sure, due to the amount they eat. It will get better as they age. The gas should not be that bad though. If they have bad gas all the time, it's their food, usually too many grains. What food are you feeding him? We feed our pups FROMM Puppy Gold, in the pink bag, and ours don't have that much gas. When ours are older, (at 7 months of age) we switch them to grain free FROMM 4 star food.

Beezy was like this when we first brought her home and we eventually realized she has a chicken intolerance. Any food with chicken ingredients in it would cause her to poop like crazy. I'd recommend switching to a different protein to see what happens. We switched to raw, and we're down to one to two times a day.

Ollie is so adorable. Hahaha I remember Charlie when he is it 4 weeks old he's just like Ollie.

Welcome!!! Ollie is precious, love the pictures.

I totally agree with David -- what and how much are you feeding?

Lila had that problem. We switched to Stella and Chewy's. Before she was on Canidae. Gas is almost gone, not nearly as potent and only poops twice a day.

A dog is more than the sum of its poops.

:haha:

Ollie is a doll!

He's so cute! But he may be eating the wrong thing! That was our first sign in finding out Aiko has a fish allergy!

Ollie is a cutie!! As a puppy our Reese had the same problem w/ 6+ poops each day until we switched her food.
