Hi everyone,

I'm relatively new to this forum, thought I would post this to everyone here before I visit the vet.

So my french bulldog's name = Mini

She is 11 weeks old

She is Runt so very very small, but we love her very much. She is super active, and eats/sleeps and poops/pee's on the pee pad with an occasional accident.

So long story short, I came home from work and a noticed this red spot on mini's toe. She was in the backyard running around freely for the noon time (as my sister explained). I never really noticed this mark until recently. When i press on it, mini doesn't react at all. It doesn't seem to hurt her at all but its still red.. I wanted to see if anyone had something similar before.

Attached is an image. She is going for her 2nd shot this weekend (she only has 1 shot so far).

Appreciate the help. Wanted to see if anyone here has had the same issue before.

Could it be an allergic reaction to a plant or bug that she could have come in contact with in the yard?

Definitely dont get her vaccinate if its still there by then. Her immune system is obviously having a reaction to something and is fighting it off. If you vaccinate her now ,the vaccine will suppress her immune system which she needs working properly right now especially.

:welcome3: looks like it might be a bug bite.... doe she chew or lick it?

:smileywelcome: to you and Mini. We would love to see a picture of all of her, but she does have nice legs! I have no clue what caused the spot on her foot. Is it growing?

she isn't licking it at all, nor does she whine when i touch it ..

I'm guessing its some sort of bug bite or something outside (but these are wild guesses). The mark isn't spreading but im taking her to a vet tomorrow to check it out. Hopefully it's nothing big.

Hi everyone,

We just came back and the vet said its most likely a bacteria contracted from the backyard. Not a big deal, just have to clean her paws with some sort of anti bacteria mix (dov soap?). Anyone here have a good recommendation on what they use to clean their frenchies paws.
