Hi! We are new to this site. We just rescued a frenchie. He’s about year and half old. For now we are learning him and trying to heal him.
His previous owners always had him outside. He had severe ear infection in both ears and skin issues. He’s currently on antibiotics, and recovering well. We couldn’t get his vaccines till he’s healed. We also noticed he won’t sleep on dog bed? I guess because he was use to being outside? Also he spits up a lot especially after drinking water? So we are going to split his food intake more and monitor his water? Any tips are very much welcomed. We live in Lakewood CA. If anyone can recommend a good vet in our area?

Welcome to the site and thank you for taking on the rescue! I hope he gets better and everything works out!

Welcome to FBN! Thank you for rescuing him. It sounds like he needs his palate evaluated. The best way to find a good bulldog experience vet is to ask a local bulldog rescue or the bulldog of America website.

Aww ok thank you. Yes still concerned for him spitting up. Can’t seem to find the right balance. Just seems constant and I am concerned he’s losing weight too. Will take him in to vet again.
