I would like to start by saying I have taken her to the vet multiple Times about her skin and my concerns. My vet does nit believe it's allergies, he has done a skin scraping and said there was bacteria but they were all dead so he believed it would resolve itself. She's been put on antibiotics and other medications none of which have helped. As you can see in photos she had these brown black spots on her skin, when I try to clean it the hair falls out and those black spots are attached to the hair follicles it appears. She had multiple spurs on her body, and now a few completely bald areas. Her face looks the worst at the moment. I don't know what to do, anyone dealt with this before?1207141059a.webp71207141059b.webp

Does she scratch a lot? It might be allergies, I would take her to a dermatologist if you can as they specialize in skin issues.

Does she scratch at it?

Have you recently had her vaccinated /flea treated?

I haven't seen anything like that before. I would take her to a dermatologist and see what they say. Plus what food do you have her on?

It looks like she has allergies to me? Does she rub her muzzle on the carpet and furniture? Looks very itchy :(. Poor baby girl.

Does she eat from a stainless steel or ceramic bowl?

My Stella had an infection from scratching so much from her allergies and antibiotics did not clear it up so my vet did a scraping to determine exactly what the bacteria was and prescribed the appropriate antibiotics. You may need a different antibiotic, but I agree that you should take her to a dermatologist.

That looks really painful. She needs to be tested for allergies!

never seen this type of issue before.... a dermatologist. I am thinking mange, but you said the vet already did the scrape.... please keep us posted. I hope it is an easy fix

Poor baby. I agree that she needs to see a Dermatologist.

Thank you for all the advice, my vet referred me to some dermatologists so we will be making that appointment soon. I don't think it's allergies because she does not scratch, she is not itchy at all. I will let you know what dermatologist says. Again thank you , I'm glad there's a place for me yo turn to for help with my little girl.

It could be vaccinosis thats why I asked if you recently had her vaccinated or flea treated?

Good luck at the dermatologist ;)
