This dog is too much...

I had to buy a tripod and was testing it out today with Hudson as my model (I run a food blog and am getting paid for some Instagram photos and needed a steady hand!). He apparently took his modeling job VERY seriously. I can't stop laughing. He tried out every facial expression he could think of, apparently.

We found this shirt at target a while back -- we think he should replace the pug as their model [emoji23]

He used to run away from the camera or hide his face, I think I have broken him now [emoji23]. He cooperates when he's in the mood.

I take a lot of pictures when Hudson is sleeping haha. Now that he sleeps all day it's pretty easy.

We are (fingers crossed) looking at December/January. Definitely within a year. Currently debating between adopting an adult or getting one of Hudson's brothers (puppy) from his breeder. We don't want to go through puppyhood again but we would love to have another dog that's as healthy as Hudson and is built like him. Decisions decisions!

It really is! Now that we've seen firsthand what can happen to some frenchies (our neighbors have one from a "reputable" breeder up here...$10k later on medical stuff and the dog isn't even a year old..) versus Hudson who can keep up with the big dogs we are torn! His breeder purposely breeds to the "old"/European breed standard which we like, but he also took 8 months to potty train!!!! Nightmare.


He's ready for a buddy.
