Travis at Vegas Nationals!

Back in October, Travis and I packed our suitcase and drove to Las Vegas for a few days. The 2016 French Bulldog Nationals (largest Frenchie dogshow in US) was being held there, and our rescue group had a booth set up for the week-long event.

It was Frenchie heaven! Hundreds of beautiful Frenchie showdogs, but the best part was meeting the fellow rescue volunteers from all across the country! We raised over $6,000 in sales from donated items.

It was my first time away from home in a couple of years. My son took care of Rocco's blood sugar testing, feeding, and insulin shots; and foster Magnus went to stay at my vet's. It was Travis' first hotel /event experience, and he did very well with it all.

I really enjoyed my little vacation/volunteering, and although I didn't get to gamble or sightsee, it was so much fun to hang out with peeps who love Frenchies as much as I do!

Our rescue dogs all wore outfits with a matching casino pattern, for the Rescue Parade.

Amazing!! We were in Vegas on holiday in October - I'd definitely have come along if we'd been there the same time! Can't think of anything better!!!

[MENTION=1072]Fosta Mama[/MENTION] Great pics, and my friends that went said it was a good time there. I planed on taking Katie there, but just couldn't go, but plan on going to the 2017 Frenchie National in St. Louis this November. Maybe see you there.
