So I know for SURE that I can have yellow (the breeder has diff color collars for each when she takes pics), but I'm not locking in until after the breeders pick on May 30th. I am 90% sure I'll end up with yellow, but there is no risk to waiting. Anyway, here are the updated 7 week photos of the puppies, and one of yellow from their first trip to play in the yard. The breeder sent me videos and it was SOOOOOO cute! They run like bunnies!

Anyway, always interested to hear what people think. Funnily enough, Orange got a stripe on her forehead this week, which when I go back I can kind of see developing last week. But I like that stripey-ness! I still like that yellow is smaller than the rest. :)

She's having a former frenchie breeder and judge friend come and evaluate the puppies this weekend, so will be interested to hear what they decide, if she'll share. She DOES have a brindle baby also available, as she is keeping one and selling one. She is from a litter a week later than mine - that had only 2 pups (originally 3 but one died the first day - sad!!).

Yellow in the grass for the first time...

Brindle girl available...

Thanks for indulging my just over 2 week countdown! Karla

Karla, all of the puppies are adorable! I always gravitate towards brindle.

Yes, I've had a lot of time to study diff colors since I put my deposit down...I would have snapped the above brindle up had I found her first! But I truly didn't think I wanted a black dog. Well, I have a lot of ideas for my second frenchie! Down the road of course! And my fawn baby will be the light of my life I have no doubt! :)

Is it just me, or is any one else obsessed with frenchie puppy limbs/paws? lol so adorable and stubby! :D

I think that they are both beautiful pups, but I think that the cream girl is just wonderful. She has a lovely form already :) Congratulations! My pup is turning 6 weeks old soon...

So precious!! I have a brindle boy so I am partical, but the cream is beautiful

Good lord, the breeder took YELLOW pics and put them in the orange email, which, I seriously studied the pics, because there was nose coloring spots that were too coincidental! Sure enough - I got the REAL orange pics today. So I updated it. Which is funny, because yesterday I was thinking, hmmm, I really like Orange now too...Maybe I was too hasty with yellow...Hah! It was because it WAS my yellow baby in the pictures! Well, that confirms things further! Orange is cute, but a darker coloring than I wanted, and I love yellow's stripe on her forehead! Karla

karla215 - They are ALL precious!!! I went with cream for our first. There were 2 brindle boys and 1 cream girl. I just liked the cream so much better at that time. Since bringing Olivia and Wilson home and watching the brindle come out on Wilson I am definitely developing more of a liking for brindle. They are a riot running around at that age and yes they do a lot of hopping.

Best of luck in your countdown and final pick!

You can't go wrong with either one, Orange of Yellow, both very nice. The little brindle girl is a beauty also.

The breeders pick on Saturday, and I found out the yellow has grown enough that she's caught up with the others, so she's not "too small" to be picked by the breeders anymore. That was a gut check, because I had always thought she was a "for sure", and I've been watching her for so long! So I'm GLAD I have the brindle as an option (I checked yesterday with the breeder, and she said yes that was an option for me, and also that the brindle was smaller than the rest and would likely stay a smaller dog). Not much I can do now but wait to hear tomorrow who they've picked, and sleep on it I guess. I really love the look of the brindle now!!! I feel disloyal to little yellow, though! :) We'll see...

How can you keep your sanity with all the waiting!! Lol I feel for you, not knowing which one is officially yours!

I think I've officially picked the brindle girl! I've just fallen in love with her, and I can't really explain how, after looking at another dog the past 9 weeks! Eloise is not the right name for her, but Lulu might be perfect. That's my working assumption right now!

The breeder loves her and is so excited I'm taking her. She wanted to keep her but can really only keep one of the two brindle sisters. I think it was meant to be.

1 week from today she'll be here! Super excited and buying food and last minute stuff this weekend!
