Thank you so much for the kind words. I have been wanting a French bulldog for years and the time just wasn't right. Once I started sort of looking I found a great breeder that was going to retire her after her next litter. I've been waiting since last Sept/Oct. It's a few more months of patience, I wish it were a few more days! Seems like it's been forever already. I can't even explain how excited I am. I've pretty much driven everyone crazy talking about her for a year. My family, extended family, friends, coworkers, random folks LOL.
I'm glad to hear feeback about Bravecto. We just recently started selling it so I haven't really heard what people are saying about it yet. We had a Rep come in and do a presentation about it, and I love the way that it works in dogs. Seems really safe. We have a lot of ticks here and she will have to have something especially when camping and such.
I always have vinegar; I use it for lots of things around the house. I have the other things as well. I have a wonderful shampoo bar that is locally made and I've been using it for a long time. I have ear cleaners available at work so I am sure I will be picking up one before she comes. That's a good idea about her feet. Bambi is lucky to have come to live with you!
You're really prepared. I'm super excited for you. If you live in a place where it gets really hot you might think of getting a cooling pad/mat for her. And lots of toys and treats of course.
I've already ordered a cooling mat LOL. It should be here this week. I do live in a place where it gets pretty hot. So, she will mostly go out to go potty and straight back in during the Summer. I'm going to get a small swimming pool for her before she gets here too. She loves water. Just a wading pool, to splash around in.
I have toys, and I am going to buy treats closer to her arrival. I also want to make her some sweet potato chews in my dehydrater and some green bean crunchies. I can't wait to see what all she likes.
You must be so excited! Can't wait to see pictures of her. How do you like your dehydrater? I've been thinking about getting one to make my dogs treats.
I saw a collar that I couldn't live without today so I grabbed that for her. I also got a nice crate pad, and some fruitables treats (pumpkin and something else that I can't remember right now).
