What else do I need?

I started off using Frontline Plus and now have been using Sentinel Plus for over a year now. Jax has never had fleas (knock on wood) and we don't really have to worry about ticks where we are.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I have been wanting a French bulldog for years and the time just wasn't right. Once I started sort of looking I found a great breeder that was going to retire her after her next litter. I've been waiting since last Sept/Oct. It's a few more months of patience, I wish it were a few more days! Seems like it's been forever already. I can't even explain how excited I am. I've pretty much driven everyone crazy talking about her for a year. My family, extended family, friends, coworkers, random folks LOL.

I'm glad to hear feeback about Bravecto. We just recently started selling it so I haven't really heard what people are saying about it yet. We had a Rep come in and do a presentation about it, and I love the way that it works in dogs. Seems really safe. We have a lot of ticks here and she will have to have something especially when camping and such.

Just out of curiosity...have you had any feedback of Bravecto since the Rep's visit? Or did you guys decide to take it to use?

We are selling a lot of it. No reactions or anything but it's still new to us. Although we have sold trifexis for a couple years and we sell ALOT with zero issues so time will tell I guess.

Ok, I ordered the snout soother. Actually it's nose butter..same thing. I have the stuff to make a couple collars, except for the ribbon to sew to the webbing because I can't decide what colors I like. I have the stuff to make the training bells now too. I am going to make it as soon as I get my sewing machine out (when I pick out ribbon). I am working on a bed. I'm in the painting phase now. Once that is done, I will sew the matress part. I found some nice thick high density foam that I want to order instead of stuffing. It should have lots of support. I have picked out a stroller but haven't ordered it yet. I think I will order it soon, but I won't need in until the end of the year for our vacation.

I just thought of something else she will need. A camping chair! She will need something low to the ground she can hop up in. I think I may make her one of those pvc frame bed type things that will sit low to the ground and I can add a blanket on it and just toss it in the washing machine. After all, she's not going to want to sit on the ground ewww lol.

I always have vinegar; I use it for lots of things around the house. I have the other things as well. I have a wonderful shampoo bar that is locally made and I've been using it for a long time. I have ear cleaners available at work so I am sure I will be picking up one before she comes. That's a good idea about her feet. Bambi is lucky to have come to live with you!

Thanks, T; it is we who are so lucky to have Bambi live with us! OMG, both of us love that dog so much - my husband as much as me if that is possible. I can't wait for you to pick up your Twiggy. Best thing that ever happened to us.

Okay, the camping chair/bed came while I was on a camping trip. It's so cute! I also ordered the zoom groom and a nylabone. I am getting there!

You're really prepared. I'm super excited for you. If you live in a place where it gets really hot you might think of getting a cooling pad/mat for her. And lots of toys and treats of course. :)

I've already ordered a cooling mat LOL. It should be here this week. I do live in a place where it gets pretty hot. So, she will mostly go out to go potty and straight back in during the Summer. I'm going to get a small swimming pool for her before she gets here too. She loves water. :) Just a wading pool, to splash around in.

I have toys, and I am going to buy treats closer to her arrival. I also want to make her some sweet potato chews in my dehydrater and some green bean crunchies. I can't wait to see what all she likes.

You must be so excited! Can't wait to see pictures of her. How do you like your dehydrater? I've been thinking about getting one to make my dogs treats.

I don't use it a whole lot, but I do like it. Mostly I use it for dog treats.

Got the Zoom Groom and Nylabone in the mail yesterday. Yay! I have been working for someone at work all week, and will be working more next week too so I haven't got to work on my tv/dog bed conversion. I hope to get the everything but the bed part done this weekend though.

Her cooling pad came today. She's got quite a collection of stuff already.

I saw a collar that I couldn't live without today so I grabbed that for her. I also got a nice crate pad, and some fruitables treats (pumpkin and something else that I can't remember right now).

Closing in. Not that many days to go :) so waiting for to see more pics of Twiggy
You really are well prepared :)

Mine eat fruitables. Blueberry & yogurt & coconut & Greek yogurt are their favs.
