Omg Hudson! What a crazy day!
I am glad that it's nothing that requires surgery!
They could've given him a laxative or something? Silly vets haha.

They thought he had a major blockage so they didn't want to stress his system out if it couldn't empty itself. OMG I was literally panicking like crazy. Hopefully tomorrow goes smoothly, I need a smoother day!!

Second X-ray this morning shows that he's all cleared up and good to go!! So happy I was able to spend the price of another Frenchie to find out that H has a stomach ache!! Lol. We are leaving in a half hour to get Henri!!

I am so glad to hear he is okay but that totally sucks about the bill!

Oh that is good news, but what a big scare. I kind of had the same thing with Stella when I was doing a food trial the vet recommended. Three weeks in she started vomiting non stop. X-ray indicated lots of gas and stool so they did an enema. We stopped the food trial and she was fine.
So exciting you get Henri today and Hudson is okay. So glad he didn't need surgery!

Well, we are in the car to return him as we speak [emoji15]. They did well yesterday but last night he just snapped. Started attacking Hudson out of nowhere, totally unprovoked. It happened like four or five times and that was enough for me. Poor baby Hudson is terrified. So, the search continues

I'm so bummed
. But we talked it out and basically said there are two variables here. Health and attitude. If he was a butt head to Hudson but super healthy then maybe we'd be like well they'll work it out eventually. And if he was like he is currently health wise but a total sweetheart to Hudson then we'd deal with it. But with the issues we already see in health and attitude we think it's better to step back now before Hudson gets even more traumatized. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We didn't want Hudson to get any more traumatized while they "worked things out" and we just felt like for a lot of reasons he just didn't click with our family. Luckily the breeder was sweet and gracious and we had no issue taking him back today. It just wasn't meant to be!
