Hotchkiss isn't even two but I've noticed lately that he becomes very agitated with dogs that are very playful and in your face. Before he never cared but now he will air snap at any dog who is highly excited and in his space. He will also push around dogs many times his size so he can be the boss of any and all situations. I sent him to my trainer because I didn't want his behavior to get out offhand. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

Cheli does try this when he first meets a dog, but after while he settles --- in some cases it has to do with how well socialized they are --- Cheli is not very socialized with other dogs so he is hit/miss. People... he LOVES people

Hudson is a little over 1.5 years now and he IS the dog that Hotchkiss hates. He gets all up in other dog's faces and wants to play. I don't think he will ever change, he loves other dogs too much.

And Buster, also. He lives to play, would rather play than eat. Other dogs and kids are his favorite! His attempts to get other dogs to play can be mistaken for aggressive behavior, but he always gets in the "play" position.

Henri is like that to a dog he doesn't know. He doesn't like them in his face, or by his crate.

Munson is also that dog who is in your face wanting to play. No one wants to play with him, cause he is too pushy, lol. Well, no one but T, and it is on her terms, not his! T on the other hand prefers people to dogs and although she LOVES going to the dog park, it is to be adored by all of the owners. She does not like playing with the dogs and will get vocal to the dogs who try and get her to play. Should be interesting the next time I go and take the two of them.

Both my boys are in your face players......we go to the dog parks and beaches on the weekends and they play all the time and t's always consists of snapping and biting at the face. It's a bully thing. I have to watch mine carefully as they don't always know when to back off and it can escalate quickly so I'm usualy picking up the harness and yelling hey we need to calm down a bit.

T sounds like Uma. She yells at dogs that get too touchy. As my husband always says 'looking is free, touching will cost ya'. :D
