I don't know what to do. My Frenchie which is 2 1/2 skips breakfast 4 out of 7 days. I have gone back and forth with Taste of the Wild Salmon and Fromm Beef and Veggie Frittata thinking he doesn't like what I feed him so I switch back to the previous food brand. He is neutered and 24 pounds. Is this normal or should I just feed once a day? I thought I was supposed to feed two meals with one cup of food. I even put a little water in it. He has always seem to have sensitive stomach issues so I can't aggressively switch food.

My previous dog used to just graze at breakfast, so I moved to feeding one time a day. I would experiment with feeding one time a day and see if it works better for him. It's not unusual for dogs to sometimes self fast, but it's not typically as often as your dog is doing. It might be that he needs less food if he's less active than he used to be. If you think it's just lack of interest, you could try adding a splash of raw goat's milk to his meals, as well.

There are freeze dried raw toppers you can add on top of your dog food, but I am of the belief that once you start on that path, your dog will just get even pickier. I would try to find a dog food that he likes better. Some well regarded kibble brands include Acana, Zignature, or maybe even try a dehydrated raw like Honest Kitchen.

It is normal for some of them to do this and they usually grow out of it in time. We used to put a little Feta cheese mixed with his food sometimes, and also you can try Stella and Chewys freeze dried food as a topper also.

Finn is about the same age and weight as yours. He is also neutered and pretty close to the same weight. He does the same thing, but only 2-3 times a week. He gets a half can of royal Cannin in the morning and half a can at night. He also has about a cup of Royal Cannin dry out all the time. When he doesn't eat breakfast, (besides his treat) he will eat his canned supper, and then about an hour or so later he will eat his cup of dry. He doesn't touch his dry all day though. He seems to be perfectly fine with this program!!!

A while back we started adding a Tbs. of Koha wet food to Bambi's Acana kibble. She would sometimes not have an appetite for the kibble alone, but she really likes the mix. It is unusual now for her to skip a meal. Of course when she does, I worry until I see her eat again.
