Dry Skin/Scab in Ear

Hello,

This is my first time using one of these websites, hoping to get some advice really, my puppy Bronson has a habit of itchy his ear and making himself yelp he's going at it that much, it doesn't appear to be red or smell or anything other than a sort of dry skin patch or scab like patch, I'm getting a little concerned but not sure if I'm over reacting or not?

Please help!!

I'm wondering if allergies are starting to kick in.. I would put a little Aquaphor on it to see if it helps with the itch.

Can you post a picture of it?

Just an update!! Believed to be ear mites, all cleared up with some ointment

Dogs with ear mites usually have a lot of black junk in their ears. I can't see much from the pictures, but if it's cleared up I guess whatever you did worked. I'm glad it's better.
