wondering if anyone here has tried the easy walk harness.
I ordered it and tried it on my frenchy and it just didnt seem to fit as they claimed it would. Worked a long time trying to adjust it.
Went on line and saw a number of dissatisfied customers who said their frenchies or other dogs got cuts in the armpit area.
I am disappointed since our frenchy is pulling and hard to walk, thoug:unsure:ht this was the answer since it has the leash in the front by her chest...
would like to hear anyone else that may have tried it.....thanks:D

I haven't tried it personally, but the training facility we take Bolt to recommend it often for dogs that come through their facility. I would imagine it is all about fitting it correctly.....we saw often the trainers would correct how owners had it on. I think it is a great training tool, but with anything if it isn't on correctly I'm sure it can cause minor problems.

Yes.... I used it for both my Bulldogs and am now using it with Cheli.... it really works - the adjusting is a challenge, but worth the time to get it right. My male Bulldog did have some armpit issues, but re-adjust and he was fine

I need to try this w/ Gidget. My frustration level grows every walk we go on. She pulls and pulls and pulls for all she's worth in the first direction (I mean, like a sled dog pull!). Then if we turn around and go back she's better.

yep, that is Cheli... you'd think FOOD was somewhere in the path and he HAS to get there. Since putting him on this harness it is much, much better. AND, once they 'get it', you can go to a regular harness

I bought one last summer at the suggestion of a trainer because Jax would pull a lot. She picked one out for me that had padding in the armpit area. I didn't use it very long because I think it was too big and when I would pull on it, it would knock him over. He does pretty good with a regular harness now so I haven't tried it again.

Medium with a lot of adjustments

do u use a regular leash??? I have a retractable and they discouraged using that and just use a regular leash

Thanks for your input i appreciate it and will try again to fit the harness
The instructions show the belly strap leads into the strap around her back and its supposed to be a continuous circle and it just seems to bend in order to fit it...just isnt a circle around her belly and back like the instructions showed....

What color harness did you get? I got the back on and the strap that goes under the belly/chest is gray... make sure you have it on right. When I first got them for the Bulldogs, I had such trouble with up and down because I was unclipping the top and not the bottom. Also, no retractable, you really have no control with them... they are great for areas that you do not want the pup to run off, but at least be able to wander around but when training... always use a regular leash for control

Winston and Hugo both have Ezy dog chest plate harnesses. I think they are fab the chest plate molds to their body. When walking with Hugo who pulls a lot I use the ezy dog cujo lead takes all the wrenching out of my arm and it has a really comfortable handle and doesn't cut into my hand. It's a set length so he is getting the gist he can't get 'away' when on it and reluctantly falls into step eventually :)

Medium with a lot of adjustments
i have my harness adjusted as small as I can and my frenchy is 23 lbs , how much does yours weigh??
Also she is 21inch around the body and 2 sizes have that for a possible measurement

I have no measured him, I will tonight for you. But, he weights exactly 24 pounds at 3 yrs old

well tried fitting the easy walk again and find the belly and shoulder strap are just too loose..so i am going to return for a small med...i measured her around again and its more like 18,19 inches which is more like the small medium

The easy walk is a great and positive way to teach good leash walking skills. It basically just turns the dog in your direction when they start to pull b/c the leash is attached in the front.

Wow I'm loving that camo one :) are they comfortable products? They almost look a little rigid.

I had intended to get the soft Puppia harness to start out.
