Just curious what everyone gives their Frenchies as a " treat / cookie ". Molly and Leo get Fruitables (yamberries), and freeze dried liver treats ...... that's pretty much what I stick to.
re: FAQ: What kind of treats or "cookies" do your Frenchies get?
Dehydrated organs from grass fed animals Heart,Liver,Lung,Tripe. Also Honey Beefers which are beef pieces dipped in honey and then dried. Yum yum.
And bones / chicken necks.
Oh and Chicken Feet.
re: FAQ: What kind of treats or "cookies" do your Frenchies get?
Pope loves the stuffed cow hooves from Petco! They are stuffed with a sweet potato mixture he goes crazy for. As far as "cookies", like many of your frenchies, Pope has a grain and poultry allergy, so he gets grain-free peanut butter flavored crackers found at a local dog boutique. I've never thought of giving him frozen veggies before- I wonder if frozen peas would be a good treat?
I don't have a frenchie yet have a 3lb almost 7 year old yorkipoo and she's healthy so many people I have met say shes malnourished but shes not she was the runt of her litter and is naturally tiny she eats alot but just stays tiny and sorry for getting sidetracked shes on a combo of Raw and Solid Gold
Solid Gold is a pet food brand that I like no corn ,wheat , soy and grain and gluten free
she eats the Mighty Mini Toy breed Lamb , Sweet potato and Cranberry for dinner
and in the morning gets raw rabbit or venison chunks mixed with Sojos grain free Pre mix
for treats she gets dehydrated venison/ rabbit pieces or raw carrots / sugar snap peas / broccoli / apples the occasional piece of cheese
I'm able to get the venison and rabbit since my brother hunts and he gives me about 12 lbs of meat and it lasts 3-4 months
