My little Miss Monster Gracie has happily destroyed all stuffed hedgehogs that the Pug adores. I would wake up to find a hedgehog massacre of stuffing and thread all over the floor. I couldn't get mad as the cute little look of pride on my Frenchie's face is hard to resist. I know she did not get any play time before and I often toss a ball with her both and the pug but she seems to peel the skin off a tennis ball if I don't keep a close eye so any recommendations on a toy that I don't have to worry about being dissected or peeled apart? The pug has accepted that the days of his stuffed hedgehog collection are over but he doesn't have the mouth to rip toys apart. I know she really does love the stuffed animals but I don't want her choking on the stuffing.

This is new for me as the pugs always just pushed and gnawed on toys only getting slobber on them. I appreciate any insight and recommendations! :)

We have large size nylabones, Kongs, and Jolly balls. We can't have any soft toys here because they shred and eat them!

We only buy Nylabones, and Kong toys and chews.

Jax usually rips his toys quickly so I don't spend a lot of money on them since they end up in the trash quickly.

Nylabones, kongs, antlers and raw/frozeb marrow bones

Anything from the Nylabone Wolf line (there's a bacon-flavored stick that Bisou goes NUTS over); Kong; Planet Dog Orbee-Tuff balls.

Nylabones, antlers, kongs, rubber balls. No stuffed toys (too dangerous and mine both have allergies to dustmites)

We have been lucky as Wyatt loves his stuffed toys and no damage done. I did have a rescue dog one time that destroyed all stuffed toys. Since Frenchies love to chew, Nylabones would be a great thing along with Kongs.

Good luck with the toys. My dog destroys every toy and we only have bought what claims to be indestructible. They're not. I've often said we should be a Beta test site for dog toys that want to print indestructible on their label. I just got one in his Pet Box last week that literally lasted about 12 mins and had to be thrown away and claims indestructible construction. I almost took a photo to send the company but decided I can't deal with anymore of this dog stuff full of false claims. I just use bones and antlers even though they get eaten it's better than strings and fibers. I don't use Nylabone because, as I have posted several times, I had a knuckle fracture and a dog swallow it and about $3K later (back in 1984) the dog amazingly lived. I'd also be interested in hearing about a truly indestructible toy line and not Nylabone because they aren't indestructible either :-O

Water bottles and Milk bottles,Pop bottles although they are destructible they are reaIIy cheap - free - a favorite as Iong as you Keep an eye on them playing

Funny, Wally doesn't destroy toys but Uma sure does. Funny story, I bought a 'shred free super tough' stuffed toy and the guy at the store said he has 2 Jack Russells and the toys are still going strong. I asked if there is a money back guarantee and he said 'If your dog tears this toy apart I will give you your money back'. I came back a half hour later with the toy completely decapitated. He asked 'what dog do you have??' and I brought Uma in the store. He couldn't believe his eyes. lol!

I only buy Nylabones and any toy made of really thick rubber. Water bottles as well but that fun only lasts for a while before he starts to chew it too much. I will also give them bully sticks for chew treats.

I've always said my house needs to be a Beta site for dog toys. My Frenchie ruins everything and he can destroy a Kong toy in less than 30 minutes. I have bought from all kinds of sites and brands claiming they are indestructible and have yet to find one that is. Currently we give antlers and regular bones we can buy at Petco. They have concerns but not like ingesting stuffing or threads. I don't use Nylabone products because I had a situation with a Dachshund where she almost died after ingesting a knuckle that fractured. We wrote them and had the knuckle and provided photos to them and they never did anything about it. Disappointing from such a large company that guarantees against fracture. If you come across anything that lasts I'd for sure like to hear about it. My dog goes through a large antler in about a month. I really don't like him eating them but it's the lesser of the evils and I don't want him eating my furniture :)
