Mods, feel free to move this if you want. While it is about a dog, it's not technically about a Frenchie. I just didn't know where to post it.

So, I took my little old man terrier mix, Clayton, to work with me yesterday to have his teeth cleaned. I've been putting it off because of his age and medical issues. I figured he isn't getting any younger and his teeth aren't getting any better so I might as well just do it. Anyway, I ran some bloodwork on him beforehand and it was all great. He did great with his sedation, and we got his teeth all shined up and his breath was minty fresh! He didn't have to have any teeth puled, and he woke up rarin' to go in no time after we were done.

Yay!:D:D:D

That is great news! Always happy to hear of a good vet visit.....

Very nice to hear! How old is Clayton?
Clayton was an adult when we found him as a stray a little over 12 years ago. He was thought to be about 2 at that time. So he is probably about 14.

Aw I'm glad he did well and that his teeth were in good shape!

My in laws have a 6 year old poodle who didn't do so well with the anesthesia and had 2 teeth pulled, plus others were bad!

Looks like you do a great job of keeping that little man happy and healthy!

Great news sure he had a guardian angel - pekingese watching over him and you

Awesome news, so happy everything went well.

Thanks everyone! I know it's silly but I was really worried about him going under anesthesia. It was such a relief once he woke up. I don't think I took a breath the whole time LOL.
