Hair loss on left back leg

Hello everyone. Happy Holidays!

So I noticed a bit of hair loss on my Bennys back leg a few weeks ago. I have not had time to get him into the vet so maybe the knowledgeable people here can provide some input. He is my first puppy so everything is new to me.

Aside from this, he is a happy, healthy pup.

Looks exactly like the fur loss/redness my boy experienced from a staph infection.

My vet told me that it was an irritation or allergy related staph infection and he was on antibiotics for 10 days. The redness has cleared up but she said the fur won't grow back for about 2-4 months fully.

Bennys Skin is not red but i do see little black dots.

Could be from allergies, may have to get some medicated shampoo from the vet to help with it.

Is he chewing at it? Is he on flea prevention?

He does not chew on it. He is on Flea medication. The vet said it is a bacteria infection. He is on a special shampoo and ointment for 2 weeks.

They did do a skin scrape to check for a certain flea or mite, just cant recall which. He is on Peroxiderm Shampoo 3 times a week for 2 weeks. Also a Resortin Ointment once a day for 2 weeks.
